Jr. Recruiter/Talent Acquisition Specialist

Spectrum Software Technology, Inc. (SST) is seeking a part-time/full-time, highly motivated, and experienced Jr. Recruiter/Talent Acquisition Specialist who specializes in recruitment in the information technology (IT) and engineering fields. The IDEAL candidate will be able to function as a savvy Brand Ambassador that utilizes their social media acumen to enable the talent acquisition lifecycle process. We are looking for someone that has a genuine passion and enthusiasm for matching top talent with our business needs.


• Plan, develop, lead, and execute the recruitment process and related programs to ensure all recruitment activities are consistent with the company's mission, vision, and values
• Research, analyze, and design strategies to create cost-effective sourcing plans that result in maintaining recruitment deliverables
• Further develop the organization's recruitment marketing strategy
• Source and recruit new talent for current and future requisitions using various methods, including but not limited to social media, professional networking events, job boards, university recruiting events and job fairs, industry contacts, referrals, and external career websites
• Manage the interview process to include scheduling, preparing interview sessions, participating as an interviewer, facilitating feedback from interviewers, extending offers, and coordinating on-boarding processes
• Proactively research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting and develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need by building and maintaining relationships with potential candidates
• Compile, maintain, analyze, and report on data related to recruitment activities, applicant flow, interviews, new hires, cost per hire, fill rate, and related information
• Attend professional networking events, university recruiting events, and job fairs
• Participate in campus recruitment efforts, including the internship program and associated university recruitment/partnership strategies
• Manage relationships and negotiate terms with third party search firms
• Research potential new Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) software tools

Required Qualifications:
• 3+ year in recruiting experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications
• Proficient in applicant tracking software
• Experience with networking, and social media management
• Knowledge with employment laws and regulations
• Technical/Engineering knowledge with the ability to understand relevant skills, target companies and user groups
• Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to create measurements and informative reports that demonstrate the effectiveness or identify areas of improvement for the recruitment strategy, and recruitment process
• Good communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in related (Human Resources, Management) field
• Understanding of The Office of Federal Contract Compliance (OFCC)
• General understanding of the government contracting industry
