Help Desk Specialist-BOSS
Spectrum Software Technology (SST) is currently seeking a highly motivated Help Desk Specialist for its Homeland Security programs. The position requires a HS Diploma or higher and 1-4 years of IT Support experience. Relevant certifications a plus. This position is located at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)’s William J. Hughes Technical Center adjacent to the Atlantic City International Airport, New Jersey.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides phone and in-person support to users in areas which include e-mail, LAN/WAN, directories, standard desktop images and applications, COTS and GOTS applications. Serves as the initial point of contact for troubleshooting all IT related problems, including hardware/software, passwords, and printer problems
Applies fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments. Performs work that requires practical experience and training. Work is performed under supervision.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or GED certification
1-4 years’ IT support experience
Related certifications a plus
US Citizen or Green Card Holder
